Every time we light a candle we keep the memories alive. When I lost Audi's Fortune earlier this year I was pretty devastated. Candles is a full sister to her, so I decided to name her Candlelight to keep Audi's memory alive. Candles is so sweet. Whenever she hears my voice she starts this pathetic little squeek until she finds me, and then that tail gets to swishing like a little puppy. Candles has awesome legs on her. Very straight and lots of width between them. She has big eye rings and a reddish tint around the base of her ears just like her sister. I can hardly wait until next year to get her in the show ring.

Queenie took forever to get here. I thought she was coming many days, but she finally arrived. She is a very pretty and flashy little girl. A girlie girl. Such an elegant mover and she has the most beautiful head! Queen is very straight and stands square like she is in the show ring. I think she will do well. She is very alert and always keeps her head up. I'm looking forward to watching her mature.

Eight Belles was born at 10 months and 3 weeks. I was worried when her mom went into labor, but as soon as she hit the ground she was running. She has had no problems. I named Eight Belles after the gray filly that ran to her death in the Kentucky Derby. She had lots of heart and I wanted to honor her with this little girl. This is one of the cutest babies I have ever had. She looks like a little stuffed toy, but with a personality of a giant. She is square and straight and has beautiful legs on her with lots of width and bone. Even as tiny as she is. I really like this little girl. Her dam has produced multiple champions and I expect Eight Belles to follow in their hoof steps.

Suede is a beautiful blue black, and such a sweetheart!. Do you know how hard it is to photograph a black donkey? They hardly show up. Suede is a full brother to Good As Gold and IsaBell, both winning NMDA Championship titles. Last years foal of this cross is Kings Ransom and he is on his way to this level along with excelling in performance. I expect Suede to follow in their footsteps. He is the 4th foal out of this cross and all of them have been built the same way when born. Very elegant and beautiful movers. Suede is very heads up, with a long set of ears. His legs are excellent, very square, and he has a beautiful chest and rear end, with a short head and wide forehead. I consider Suede to be good enough to become a herdsire. He isn't going to be a tiny donkey, but he will grow up to be stout, with awesome conformation.
