31 5/8" Dark Brown Jack
DOB: 7/01/03

Sire:  Willow Creek Luigi, 31.75" Dark Brown
Grand Sire: MHT Giovanni, 32" Dark Brown
Grand Dam: MHT Crystal, 33.5" Gray-Dun

Dam: Windy Willows Sapphire, 32" Brown
Grand Sire: Circle C Lightening Strikes, 32.5" Dark Brown, NLP
     Grand Dam:  Someday's Misty II, 31.5" Gray-Dun

Sundance has a very correct structure, coupled with a short compact body, beautiful wide front end, and an attractive short head. His legs are as straight as can be, he tracks perfect, and has a lot of bone. He has a wonderful temperament, very gentle and calm. The pictures above are not his true color. He is very dark brown after he sheds his winter coat. This is a really nice little jack, and a pleasure to be around and handle. He is trained well enough he could go back in the show ring. Sundance will pasture or hand breed, and has a gentle enough temperament to run with foals.

His pedigree is exceptional with both his sire and dam tracing back to the Sardinian imports . His sire, Willow Creek Luigi, is a two-time ADMS National Halter Champion and an NMDA National Halter Champion. Sundance was shown as a yearling a for a short period of time.

Some photos of Sundance are compliments of Red Gate Farm.

Sire:  Sunset Acres Russian Czar, 31.5" True Black w/NLP

      Grand Dam:  R&D D&H Molly, 32.75" Black

Dam:  Ozark's Abrakadabra, 32.5" Gray/White Spotted
      Grand Sire:  Cobra's Chico, 31.5" Brown/White Spotted
      Grand Dam:  Mr. J's April, 31.5" Gray-Dun

I loved this jennet the first time I saw her. She is extremely wide in the chest and rear, has a gorgeous head, and a beautiful set of legs. Shazam has the sweetest temperament, except if your body clipping her. She absolutely hate it! She turns into another donkey that I don't want to know.

First time shown Shazam placed third in NMDA Foals at Halter, Dallas State Fair, 2005, in a class of fourteen! March 2006 Shazam placed 3rd out of a huge class of foals at the Houston Livestock Show.

Taylor will make a great herdsire for someone looking for really small. He is about as square a donkey as they come, and has a drafty build. Perfect bite. Very correct legs with good bone, beautiful little head with a big white star, really nice topline, and an awesome chest on him. Taylor is as sweet as they come and full of personality. He has lots of dark in his pedigree. If your looking for a black herdsire that is going to top out around 30 inches, and one that has great conformation, consider looking at Taylor.

Racer is a wonderful donkey. He is small, square, and compact. I wouldn't be selling him, but I just can't keep him right now. Racer has a lot of bone and width in both his front and rear, a wide chest, really straight legs, with a beautiful full round rear end. He has the most gorgeous little head and throws this on his foals. To date he is throwing mostly jennet foals. He has a really nice disposition, is easy to handle, and he absolutely loves people. He hands or pasture breeds, and gets the job done. Racer has a really good pedigree, and would do really well for someone wanting to breed either blacks or sorrels. If you're looking for a small, mature herd sire, that has experience, and looks, you really should look at Racer. You're not going to be disappointed with him.

True Black Jack (no cross) w/Small Star
DOB:  11/19/07
Height: just under 21"

Sire:  Sunset Acres Rowdy Yates, 32" Black no visible cross

Dam:  Sunset Acres Sabrina, True Black w/Star
Grand Sire: Dewey Meadows Primo, 32" Black/Brown/White Spotted
Grand Dam:   MGF Venus Sienna Serenade, 33.75" Dark Brown

Boy, do I like this little guy. The more I am around him the more I like him. If your looking for a really well built herd sire prospect, that is black and very flashy, with an excellent pedigree, take a look at him. Both his sire and dam are black with no cross, and there are lots of blacks in his pedigree. He has a beautiful little head and a very up headed style about him. He moves very fluently and shows good reach. He is straight both in the front and rear legs and has a good chest and well rounded hindquarters. Plus he is as sweet as can be. This is a nice little boy. I have been really tempted to hold on to him. If you like the blacks and are looking for wonderful conformation, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Congratulations to
Pete & Carolyn Christian

This little black boy is going to make you
so proud in the show ring and in the pasture!

Dam:  Big Woods Black Widow 33.5" Black/Brown

Shades is such a flashy young man. He is smokey black all over except for the insides of his ears which are white. He carries his head high, and is beautiful to watch in the pasture. He will make someone a great little donkey for driving or just to have as a pet. I have considered keeping him to show. If you're looking for a really nice donkey to train and begin showing, Shades can fit that bill. He really is a nice donkey and I think he will be wonderful in cart.

Boy, what a little tank this guy is. He has the widest chest for such a little foal and the most perfect set of legs. Great bone for only being 18.5 inches tall at birth. He is good enough to be a herdsire. Striker has a beautiful head and the sweetest personality too. He just loves people. .If you're looking for a nice little donkey and you love that classic gray, Striker may be just what you're looking for. He would make someone a nice show donkey.

Prudence is a big pet. We weren't sure what to expect from her since she has been spoiled rotten, but we weren't disappointed in her. Along with the fact that she likes to do tricks, Prudence has a beautiful head She's a little on the tall side, but all her foals have stayed small, and are absolutely gorgeous with wide chests and rears and beautiful straight legs, and pretty heads. She crosses well with Rowdy.

Grand Dam:   Sky Point Picabo, 30" Gray/White Spot

This little guy is so short and square. Look at his chest. He is going to be a little tank. The few spots that he has are dark brown. Tuff has a really short, and wide head. At a month and a half he still has VERY BLUE EYES. Tuff's dam has produced some really nice foals. If your looking for a really small jack to add color to your herd, and one that has small donkeys in his pedigree, Tuff might be what your looking for. He is really sweet and would make a great pet for someone too.

Chanelle is a really nice little jennet. She is an easy breeder, and never had any problems foaling, and she is a good mom. Chanelle has had both spotted and black foals. She is bred to FL Sundance Kid for a October 07 foal. People always gravitate toward her in the pasture because she is so cute! Of course if they don't, she will find them. She is a very wide bodied donkey with a beautiful rear end. I am going to be very picky as to where this little girl goes.

This jennet is absolutely gorgeous. She has been shown for a few years by a young child in halter and costume classes, and is practically unbeatable in the spotted classes. She is child and bomb proof. Miss T had trouble getting pregnant by her previous owner's jack. I have been running her with my jack, FL Sundance Kid, but I am not guaranteeing her bred because of her past. She has been started in cart and is doing really well. You can drive her in the pastures, she stands quietly for harnessing and while you're in the cart, and she is moving out in her gaits nicely. She just needs some miles. Miss T is a very drafty and correct jennet, with good width in her front and back legs, a beautiful, wide chest and back and a quarter horse rump. If your looking for a gentle donkey, or one that is started in cart, Miss T might just be the donkey your looking for. I have reduced the price of this jennet only because I really want to find her a good home. I just don't have the time to continue her training right now.

Black Jennet Foal w/no visible stripe!
DOB:  6/05/06

Grand Dam:  BJ Black Beauty, 32.75" Black

Dam:  Windcrest Cinderbelle, 32" Dark Brown
Grand Sire:  PGF Peppercorn Jack, 29.5" Brown
      Grand Dam:   R&D D&H Cinderella, 32.5" Dk Brown/White Spot

Harpie is a very wide and drafty donkey. She has a beautiful, full round butt, and big expressive eyes like her sire. I doubt she will mature bigger than 32 inches at the most. She is only 28.25 inches at 10 months old. Harpie is very sweet and loves people. Her half brother is a herdsire in Canada now and did awesome in the show ring, both in halter and obstacles. Her sire is putting some outstanding foals on the ground for me that are winning in the show ring. I have retained several jennets from 2006 which is the only reason I am offering her for sale. Harpie is not body clipped in these pictures and has a lot of her winter hair still, but she is a true black and shows no stripe.

Sunny is a beautiful jennet with an very extensive pedigree going back to the original imports with 562 ancestors on file. She is a wonderful mom, and breeds easily. Sunny has had 3 foals for me, all dark spotted with the tyger spotting factor.

This is a really nice jennet, and sweet as they come. She is easy to catch and handle, gets along with other donkeys, and very quiet natured. Sunny is built like a tank. She has a beautiful head, wide chest, and really round rear end.

      Grand Dam:   R&D D&H Milly, 33.5" Brown/Gray-Dun

I have decided to offer Roller for sale but only to the right home. This is one nice little gelding and I just love him. He has been shown in halter classes, winning the yearling gelding class at the San Antonio Show, 2nd at the NMDA Tennessee Show, and 2nd also at the Houston Livestock show. Roller is well started in obstacles, and does cones, back throughs, small jumps, sidepasses, pulls cans and tarps, does gates, among many other things. He is very sweet and eager to please, and loves to go places. He would make someone just starting out in the show ring a great little donkey. Roller has a beautiful head, and an awesome front end. He is square and alert, and just a pleasure to be around.

Monty is the love of my life, except my husband, of course. (But don't tell Monty!). He will do almost anything for me, (long walks, trail, jumps, halter, pull a cart, shake hands and count), although he is a tad bit spoiled. (That's an understatement!!!!   ***note from the webmaster) He is small and compact, and has the straightest set of legs I've ever seen. His bald face is unusual and striking, and you can't help but notice him. And if you don't, he'll make you! Thank you so much Half Ass Acres in Chapel Hill, Tennesse, for bringing my best little buddy into my life. He is part of our family!

Small and expressive, and a set of the straightest legs I have ever seen on a donkey, with good bone. He is wide in both the front and back, has a beautiful topline, and tracks very well. Ranger is a really showy donkey, and shows lots of class. Ranger wins the NMDA Yearling Jack class in Conroe in 2006. First time shown. Way to go Ranger!

Silk is a really drafty little jennet. Lots of bone and very wide bodied. I have shown Silk twice in halter. She won 4th in the foal class out of nearly 30 entries at the 2006 NMDA Nationals her first time out and won 3rd in a large Foal/Yearling Jennet Halter Class at the 2006 NMDA Tennessee State Fair. I just don't have the time to show her along with my other donkeys I have in training. She loads, will stand for the farrier, and body clipping and is a real sweetheart. She just loves people. She is sound enough that I think she would do good in obstacles if someone worked with her. Silk does show a slight cross, but is very very dark in color. She would be a great addition to someones herd, especially if you like the drafty bodied donkeys.

I have decided to sell RG because we just don't have enough sorrel in our bloodlines to make keeping him worth our while. RG has matured into a nice jack, and done very well in the show ring. He has been shown 3 times at NMDA shows and placed 2nd or 3rd in every class, and we have some really tough jack classes here in Texas. He pasture or hand breeds, and settles jennets quickly. RG has a soft, easy going personality and loves people. He is easy to handle, clip, loads, just an all around jack. His foals have been very full bodied, with good legs, beautiful heads, and wonderful temperments. He has produced browns, sorrel and a true sorrel and white spotted. I really hate to let him go but just don't have the space for him right now. He would be a wonderful addition to someones breeding program. I will be going to the Tennessee State Fair in Nashville, Tennessee the second week in September and would be able to bring him that far if someone purchases him.

I have decided to sell my only sorrel jennet, and concentrate on the blacks and spots. Bitsy is a small, drafty little jennet with a good chest and butt. She has good conformation and a beautiful head. Her wide white blaze is very striking. Bitsy is really sweet and loves people. Her 2006 jennet foal is really nice. Bitsy is an easier keeper, breeds easily and has no trouble foaling. She would be a great addition to someones herd that was breeding sorrel. I have not bred her back yet only because we don't have foals in the summer time here in Texas. It's too hot.

NoonTime was born almost 1 1/2 months late, but it was worth the wait. He is a really sweet baby, and loves people. We nicknamed him Roger Rabbit because he had laid on his ear wrong in the womb and it was flat when he was born. It's just about normal now. NoonTime has a set of legs to die for. I love straight legs in my donkey's. His body is short, with a good topline, round rear end and he has the prettiest little head. I think NoonTime would make a great performance donkey. His dam did really well with driving. If you're looking for a spotted jack or a great little gelding you might want to check out NoonTime.

Our first baby of 2006. I was surprised expecting spots and getting black. Kase is a quiet donkey. He isn't pushy, and just stands forever to be handled. Kase looks a lot like his sire when he was a foal, short, and wide bodied, nice round hindquarters, and good legs. Kase is a true black showing no sign of a stripe. Kase is really nice and everyone that see's him falls in love. If your looking for a great little donkey, Kase may be what you're looking for.

Boy was I surprised when Rose was born. I was expecting spots, and got black. Not that I was disappointed at all. Rose is sweet as they come, and personality plus. She has a short, square body, wide chest, nice legs and a beautiful head. The white on the top of her nose has turned to a chocolate brown, a really unusual color.

Callie is absolutely beautiful. You couldn't ask for a better built donkey. We have started Callie in driving and she sure looks flashy under cart. She is built like a tank and pulls easily with very good forward motion. Callie is only green broke to this date, but has taken to driving very well. She is as sweet as they come.

Dakota is a really nice, drafty jennet. She is built like a tank, with a pretty, expressive face, and a gorgeous round read end, wide, square body, and chest, and is put together just right! Her first foal was a precious dark brown jack, William Boquete, sired by Shetler's Jethro, a 31" black/brown jack. Dakota will be bred to our small sorrel jack, Flight of Fancy Cardinal's RG, on her next heat cyle.

Grand Sire:  PGF Peppercorn Jack, 29.5" Brown

Hanky Panky is a really nice little jack. I have been reluctent to put him up for sale, but I just don't need another jack. His pedigree is full of dark brown and spotted donkeys, going back to the original imports. Hank is a really neat donkey with a real alert and showy attitude. He is trained to show in halter, trail, and showmanship, and he loves to show. He loads, clips, has great manners, and loves to go places. He isn't going to get very tall, and should make someone an excellent herdsire. Hank has a beautiful head and awesome front and back legs. He is built very drafty, with a wide chest and butt, and a well put together body. He has been hauled to NMDA shows in Oregon, Texas, and Tennessee since he was 6 months, never placing lower than 3rd place in large halter classes, and already winning in trail and showmanship at under a year. If your looking for a really nice herdsire that is already winning in the showring, check out Hanky Panky.
